I finished cleaning the engine block and heads today, and removed a few more pieces along with the valve covers and intake. I taped the top off in preparation for paint.
Block painted! Timing cover and oil pan will come off next weekend.
Cleaned and painted the intake manifold along with the EGR and thermostat housing.

I also picked up a new water pump, painted as well, along with some small brackets.
