Now THAT is cool! That I might have to check into...

I did some piddly stuff recently. I noticed that my inlaws had door blinds exactly like mine, but they looked 100X better because they were "boxed" in. Lowe's goofed up my order (2 blinds were wider than what was on the order sheet so they wouldn't fit in the window hole) and when I brought in the blinds I forgot the tops, but they said don't worry about bringing them in, so I kept them. I'm glad I did because it left me with extra material to do what I wanted.

I tried out my new miter box saw today. I got to use the 45 degree cut feature and I "boxed in" my blinds. Only took an hour or so, and made a big improvement. It was just some 45 degree cuts, angle brackets, and screws. Real simple, but big impact.
