THE PROBLEM IS= 49 and 50 Chevy cars had a push button starter on the dash.

Even if you bought that switch that Zippi showed or the one I show you still have to have a push button as it won't start with the key. I've got the 49 and 50 Chevy car wiring diagrams sitting beside me on the table that show that both years use a push button. It does have a se[arate Auxiliary post though.

My motor's auto wiring diagram book was printed in 1952 and shows that Chevy cars up though 52 had push button starters.
