I have heard the leaf springs are stiff and the GMCs don't have the same rides-like-a-car suspension because they were considered the harder working cousins to the Chevys. I wonder if people often swap out the whole rear suspension from a Chevy parts truck.

I actualy bought this truck in 78 and parts would have been readily availible but it was driver & running then . I tore it down in 84 to restore it and an now getting it done.
