Hey, i think it would be cool to see a shinny shop truck, as was said, the way it would hve been back then, like a shop truck restoration. all the others I have seen all have that old aged look of sitting in the sun since 1967. Do what you like, not what others think you should do.
By the way nice camero, i have a 68RS, not quite as original as yours though.
