the blocks shouldnt hurt the ride quality, but any drop will have some affect on load capacity. I made a set of blocks for my 4x4 to level the rear(lift blocks in my case). You can use 3/8 wall square tubing,& drill em & cap the ends with flat stap steel. Then pick up a new set of U bolts & you are good to go! You will have to measure to check this, but my guess is the back is approx 2 1/2" taller than the front. Good luck.....crazy AL
