This truck really brings back memories to me because I bought a brand spanking new one like it ,except for this one is a long box.. Doesn't take anything away from it ,,I am only explaining the only difference in trucks

I have told this story before but beings this truck won I want to tell it again ,,not trying to take anything away from this beauty as it is ever as good looking as mine was and this one is 50 years old.

They came with a mamual choke and when you wanted to choke the Carb you would just pull it out to the amount you wanted to choke..

But to push it back in you had to first push the gas pedal down or what would happen is you would bend the choke wire and then you would be all fouled up..

I had a brother who borrowed mine ,,brought it back after he had a guy fool with the carb and then I had two things that didn't work.

happy you won cru_zn_29 ...did you take the manual choke out or keep it in?
