You know grancuda I don't think you'll need a high hump to fit that tranny in there. It's no taller than a 3 or 4 speed muncie.
As for using the bench seat shifter you might need to build an extension to make it work or you could do like they did in the 64-65 Nova's and make a notch in your seat.
