Yes that is one way of doing it. Since you are a machinist, that would probably be the easiest for you. Otherwise the pushrod can be lengthened by welding on a longer rod, like maybe part of the original brake pushrod.

Yes Jon, this hydroboost plate will bolt onto any one of my booster brackets.
