Surprisingly the rust came right off with a wire wheel, I normally don’t use a wheel for rust removal but it did a real nice job, I guess the rust was really just light surface rust, it looked real ugly though.
Lucky me. I was standing in the garage yesterday debating how to do the rear floor. And exactly what you did is what I had in mind. Nice to have reassurance now
