Re: Post Your Straight Six Pics!

If I understand your question, the answer is no. It is just spaced out from the head a little. The bracket uses the two bolt holes near the front of the head and the bottom of the two holes behind the #2 plug. One piece of steel stock goes from the front straight back to that bolt. A second piece from the top of the bracket goes down at an angle and is welded to the lower piece, just below plug #2.

No shroud. The '94 Cad DeVille pusher fan runs all the time the AC is on, which is all the time because it is an Electronic Climate Control from a '87 Lincoln Mark VII. You just set the temp degrees and leave it alone year round. The other fan is a '89 DeVille fan. It is on a 208 deg temp switch mounted on top of the thermistat housing and to my knowledge has never turned on. The factory temp gauge has just the "L" and "H". In this heat, it goes all the way up just over the "L".

I love the unit, but it was far too much work to sqeeze it in there. Had I known, I would have used an aftermarket.
