A cool thing about the 144's is that they are very easy to rebuild. I rebuilt mine in my garage. A complete rebuild kit set me back maybe $50. I was able to polish out the case while doing the rebuild, too. I dont have a good pic or Id post one up.

Thanks, & I may just go that route. I might still try to do some checking around. It's hard to find good ole mechanical mom n' pop kinda places anymore.
