Here is my reply to him:

Hi Ken,

All you would need to send me is the ignition cylinder and key and I will change the ignition to match the door cylinders. The cost would be $15.50 + return postage (about 4 bucks) which would include 2 new keys cut to the 9449 code....

If you have trouble getting the ignition cylinder out of the switch let me know. If you wrap the ignition cylinder in some newspaper or paper towel and tape it up you can mail it in a 6x9 padded envelope by USPS First Class Mail for about 4 bucks.
