Santa ended up giving my brother a set of leather seats from a 2009 Tahoe for Christmas:

We knew we were going to have to make some custom brackets, but they did end up fitting quite well. The only downfall is that we weren't able to wire up the Seat Heaters or coolers since they need to talk back to the body computer on the '09 Tahoe. Maybe we will fix that up later, maybe not. Either way, they are comfy and fit great!
