I got an (18amp I think, let me check it when I get home) angle grinder from Sears specifically for the hard jobs and a smaller one for the light work.
So far I like the 4.5" DeWalt cutting discs the best, they cut only 1/8" wide (approx) and have been pretty durable so far.
I have only used them to cut sheet metal, bolts and rivets so far. Anything thicker than that I use my sawsall.
I have some others that are almost 1/4" thick and I am not 100% sure I like them as much yet.
