Thanks!No build thread, sorry. I've been driving this truck since the end of '97, and I'm replacing parts that I've replaced before. I love lifetime warranties. The spec's aren't much of a pedigree. There's no power steering, or brakes. I've never even had armrests in it. It's a Plain Jane. I drove it for years with a fairly radical small block in it, but it's a little tamer now. I gave up a couple hundred horsepower, but the fuel economy's better, and it's not as hard on drivetrain components. It's got a Saginaw four speed. The wider ratio Vega version. I've double insulated the cab for sound and heat (keeping it out), and added aftermarket A/C. I've got big quiet mufflers to add to the creature comfort. I like the sleeper vibe.
