I think I found the gauge...thanks! Since it isn't "oem" was it just as easy to install? This is the one i found...

I have used that same tach in a 64 - 66 cluster. It will stick out of the back of the cluster about 3/8 of an inch or so if I recall. I used two stock back plates and made a custom one. You will have to do a little trimming on the main tin around where the back plate attaches. You also need to take the chrome bezel off the front. If I recall that was just crimped on.
