You just described a first gen military Hummer. Before armor they had a bolt in panel that covered the rear door to bed hieght. The seats collapsed and it had a truck bed. Only thing that sucked was the top made the rear of the cab. Dirt and dust would kick up under it and flood the cab at higher speeds. Fixable.
