I have had a nite mare for the past two months. I took my 4 sp granny for a rebuild. My attention was drawn away thinking I would put a T5 in and throw away the 4 sp. It was well outlined on the web on how to do this except they were all installed into 47-53 bullnose Chevys. On blind faith I bought a T5 but I quickly found out that it would not fit on my 41 bell housing so the T5 was returned and back to the 4 sp rebuild. I again stopped the rebuild because I was promised a 3 sp top loader from a 46 which would fit and the price was right, free. When I went to retrieve the tranny I was informed his helper had scrapped the tranny, so back to the 4 sp unschancronized gear box. Well I am picking up the 4 sp today. When I install it I will post some pics as someone had requested.
