I'm currently doing the same swap and i recommend this Book:
 TPI Swappers GuideIt's does a good job of explaining how the system works, and has pretty much all the info you could want, including wiring diagrams and options for getting more power out of the motor.
I got mine off of Amazon for $10 new.
