I understand what you are saying about price and quality. I had cheap $99 gas grills that lasted longer than this grill. So buying a $400 + 7% sales tax grill I expected it to last longer than 3 years. I think $428 is a lot of money and if you spend that amount on a product you should get a reasonable life expectancy.
