If I were doing mine over I would use the side mounts. You might want to add p/s later and it will give you more flexibility about which p/s pump mount you can use. Take a look at Brother's website and compare your options for engine mounts.

OrrieG: I was referring to the tight bend you have to make in the 3/8th inch tubing coming out of the fuel pump in order to clear the mount. How did you handle that? My tubing benders won't make a bend close enough to the fitting to make it work. I got some multi-wall tubing from NAPA that doesn't require a bender and got it done, but I don't like the way it looks.
