yeah wrong hood for a 61. Also if I remember right the GMC's had double hump dashes in 60 and 61. So my guess is that it is a 62 or 63 that either sold in a state that registers the year sold rather than the year made (62 model year sold in 61), a truck that had the front sheet metal changed at some point, or a truck that has been mis-registered at some point.
