If you pray.. oh you said satin not satan, sorry my bad. The satin finish paints are a base coat/clear coat type and do have a clear for them. the clear is where the gloss retenion and holdout come from. This is the main reason why what you shoot is what you get on a flat /satin or matte/semi type paint, no cut and buff stages after the application of the clear coats. If you were to run into trouble say to fix a run or a large thrash problem [I have problems with my shops sprayed in insulation falling into my stuff . That was just one reason I had De Villbiss sent me a paintbooth.] you will put a smal amount of gloss where you sand and rub out the mistake. There are clears in a wide range of glosses other than the standard[ or at least there used to be] it may take some looking to find them but the standard semi or matte will look great on your project, since that is what you are looking for.
