a while back the spacer was only 75$ or so. To change the output shaft you have to tear down the tranny, Unless you plan on a rebuild the spacer is a better way IMO.
In some of those pic's you can see how close my driveshaft came to the pan. I had a deep pan on as well it cleared but it was close.
