Re: 73 thru 80 dash bezel

There are a few differences in the dash bezels over the 73-80 year range.

1973 - 1974 bezels have a raised area surrounding the hole for the headlight switch knob. They also have a fairly small square shaped opening for the wiper switch. And the "Washer Wiper" lettering is illuminated via a fiber optic line connected to a dash bulb.

1975 - 1977 bezels no longer have the raised area around the headlight knob hole and the hole is larger. The hole for the wiper switch is also wider and more rectangular in shape. The wiper switch in these years is illuminated by a bulb that fits into the back of the switch assembly.

1978 - 1980 bezels have the same size headlight & wiper switch holes as 75-77 bezels and will interchange with 75-77. The differences are in the appearance with 78-80 having a finer grain pattern in the plastic and raised "borders" molded into the plastic that divide the bezel into upper/lower & left/center/right sections. The lower steering column cover was changed a little bit too so that needs to match the bezel if you're swapping between 75-77 vs. 78-80 styles.

The upper trim level bezels had a simulated woodgrain overlay from 73 through 77 with 3 different wood patterns for 73-74 vs. 75-76 vs. 77. Then they changed to a brushed aluminum overlay for 78-80.
