Re: C10 front suspension question.

With the bolt in front end, and a few other small things like drag tires in the front vs sportsman skinnies, went with a mini alt but added a vac pump, I dropped 210 lbs, and that's from the front. Started 56.51% front, 43.48% rear and went to 54.23% front and 45.76% rear bias. I have since removed my front inner fenders and for the time being took the exhaust off for about another 45-50 lbs I'd guess, haven't put it back on the scales since.

Suspension kit was a bolt in, I fab'd some brake lines, and routing the steering shaft proved to be a pain around my BB headers so I removed the mounts that came with the kit and I put in a engine plate and supports that were welded in. My column was also sloppy and I wanted tilt so bought a ididit which in turn made the connection to double D easy.

The plate and all the supports was about a wash weight wise from the mounts.
