swapping the columns is no big deal its like four bolts underneath the dash seven or eight on the fire wall and separating the upper and lower shafts, shift linkage and a couple of plugs. the thing you have to remember tho is that you need to get the correct column for the swap. make sure that its the same configuration with the wiring and that its the same kind of connection between the upper and lower shaft..
