One concern I have you may have resolved. My "work shop" is an attached garage. I was worried about paint fumes migrating into the house. Can you get a utility home made booth tight enough not to make you family sick?

I would think you could make it tight enough, how many openings do you have? As long as you duct tape the plastic to the floors and around your fans and filters and have it being sucked out you will be fine. so in other words yes
