Having had a worm gear clamp come loose and the lower radiator hose blow off, I have become a big fan of the spring type clamps. Yes, annoying to use but they don't loosen up and cause you loose an engine or if you notice, just leave you stranded.

Jest need the proper tool and they are easier to deal with.
