It had a place on it that looked like it had been bent. The frame also had a 73-up frontend. I just didn't like the thought of building on a frame that was questionable. I wish that the po had been more honest about it. Live and learn. This is a pic of the bend. the top rail goes down too far. And it also had a gap problem on the pass. side (door to fender) while the drivers side was okay.The replacement frame is in a lot better condition. I got it from Brian(southern c10) as part of the deal that we made on my stepper.
