Didn't mean to ask a hard question. I have found there are 3 types of the high back seats. The early high back seats are square looking on top. The later ones are more rounded and smooth looking. They also don't recline until 86.

Can somebody please confirm the reclining part?

Still don't know about the bolt patterns but that shouldn't be an issue.

I presume many of the seats were changed to something more comfortable and have a recline feature. Perhaps that's why my seats are gone.
