Several years ago, I had regretfully sold my '72 stepper that was finished, and always wanted another. I answered a CL ad for a '77 Camaro RS a couple hours away and saw it there for the first time. It used to be a show truck with Gremlin tail lights, frenched antenna, etc., but had been put back into regular use. That was many years ago. Over time, and through several car deals later (a '70 C10 step 6cyl, an old Corvette, a '73 Burb, etc..) we became friends, and I finally talked him out of it.
