Oh man, that does not sound good! I looked through some other forums and steveshouseofspeed is a Hoffman group eBay reseller, so I'm a bit hesitant. Do you know if CPP is selling Hoffman Group parts?
I also have a lead on one "new" here in Seattle on Craigslist for $120, wondering if the owner got it from the same place. Only problem with the CL unit for $120 is it's black, and I prefer the chrome or the polished aluminum. Still, I could paint it same color as my dash...
