Clean & prep is the key. I clean the parts with Dawn & hot water. Then I use the SEM Soap with the scour pad. The SEM soap is the little blue bottle. Then use the appropriate Prep, wether it’s vinyl or plastic. Then the Adhesive Promoter. While that is still wet on the parts, lay down the first light coat of dye. Let that dry and then follow with additional coats, dry time in between.
If your dyeing the same color as the parts, it will only take a few coats. But if your changing the color of the parts, it will take a lot more dye to cover completely.
