I did some investigating tonight and if I am interpreting things correctly, it looks like the wristpin for a 305e is 1.24". Looking at pics online, it definitely looks like a wristpin clip, but the size is throwing me for a loop. The O.D. of this circlip is around 5/8" and looks like it would go into a recess that was around .595" O.D. x 1/16" wide. I can't think of any other areas in the engine that would use this type of clip...?
