Completed a small project on the dash. I had a piece of trim for the dash that goes over the Headlight and Wiper knobs. It was bent and had a few scratches and since I didn't have a complete set I decided to cut it down a bit.
First I put a steel strip in the hollow back side, used some JB weld to attach a few small rare earth magnets I picked up from Radio Shack, and also filled the ends.
Finally cut it down to the length I wanted and polished it up with 00 steel wool and WD-40. Turned out pretty nice!
I think it completes the dash as I already had the trim over the ignition switch. What do you think?
