I used a repro grille, and you will want to take out the rivets for the grille surrounds as the are not painted behind them, just a heads up if you go this route

Also, the core support bushings will give you fits, since your frame bracket is set up for 72, but your core support is 67-68, buy both bushing and fit as needed, or change the bracket on the frame. Holes are a different size. You'll see the effect of this when you mount the fenders and the gap between the fender and door is off

I was interested in your thread because you've already done what I want to do. If memory serves me correctly your build thread is 100+ pages. I found some front clip discussion on page 14 or so, but I don't know if there's more or what the sequence of the build was.

Do you have pictures of the rivets and grill surrounds? I think I've read that the 67-68 core bushing is shorter than the 69-72 - is this what you're referring to? I was thinking of using a temporary spacer or even washers. What did you do?

Your advice is greatly appreciated, as would be any related images you can provide.
