I've made thousands of lifts with mine...biggest thing is try to get it centered, lift it till the tires clear the ground, and do a shake test...nearly every vehicle I've lifted usually winds up centered and is fine..
Make sure the lift pads are centered on the frame rails side2side..and you'll be good
If you had a rotary lift things would be off center a bit, but you dont..
Once you start using it you'll wonder how you ever got by without it
