Re: Tom's 4L60E build

So, a little update for anyone concerned. Finally have the trans in and truck driving again. Just got to 500miles on the unit. Works geat. I'm probably going to pull the pan and put the next heavier spring in for the 2nd gear shift but I'm going to wait another 500miles.

Some things that really made this a pleasant experience and I didn't expect:
- When I pulled the pan to drain the trans I only put like 4 bolts back in to keep the pan on for shipping, thinking I'd save Chris 30 seconds of work. It came back with all bolts installed.
-I also bought a new dipstick grommet, trans already had one installed.
- Shipped trans without any covers, got it back with all ports and shafts covered and/or sealed up.

All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my choice in builders. I've learned alot from my years reading Chris's posts and he filled all expectations.
