I thought the oem dash pads had a metal base that the foam was molded to. I’m not sure if they had more than one style but the Forum member I am going to have recover the pad, indicated I should pass on a dash pad that just had metal along top and bottom edges. I didn’t think there was one like that. This is the shape of the metal base that was on my original dash. ‘C’ shaped. I just wanted to confirm the pad you had is like this, if so
I’ll take it.
