I've never used the faster set ones, because I'm not fast.

The stuff is very expensive, and it mixes in a 4" mixing nozzle, so have all your work ready when you start spreading. Also get extra nozzles.

Some idiot at a show leaned on the hood on my Corvette and punched the hood brace all the way through the inner structure. I cut out a section of the inner structure, and laid fiberglass mat mixed with Fusor then laid the cutout back on and filled the imperfections. After sanding, it was stronger than new.

I put white lithium grease on the bolt threads and screwed them in the holes for the brace. The bolts made it easier to handle the cutout also.
WTH Larry??? A guy leaning on your Corvette to the point of punching your hood brace through the inner structure? I can't believe how some individuals simply lack any type of common sense! Glad your repairs turned out good.

By the way, what year is your Corvette?
