I'm ALWAYS in the market for one
Yes, kinda on the back burner, waiting for the right one to come along. Primarily looking for a nice 8' Alaskan, that isn't IN Alaska (or 2000 miles away, like they all seem to be), or a nice Mitchell Little Sioux. Not looking for an over-hanger, per se. Hard to find bed-length WITH a john, but they are out there. Also lookin for a nice period topper as well, but I'm finding I'm way too picky in what I think "looks right" ha. Plus, it's hard to justify about $1K to ship a $200 camper shell... But if I found the right one, well... sometimes ya gotta bite the bullet. Have a few Alaskan leads, just gotta get off my butt and figure out how to get it to sunny North TX. Little Siouxs are hard to find though - have only found two, and have been kicking my self hard on the first one I passed on, didn't realize how nice it was at the time. Most of the Mitchell campers seem to be close to Colorado where they were mfgr'ed.
