That means your engine is more than likely a 160. If it's an 94 or early 95 it will have a WH1C on it. I can tell you some things to check on it and or do to it when you get there. |
I know that the converter has been worked, so that is a very good thing. I guess I will start to put together a parts list for the this trans and I plan on now using it in this swap.

I was guessing that this engine was a 160 hp. Which is not a bad thing. I use to know a Cummins company field rep in Ohio and he use to tell me that they had these engines in marine applications back in the early 90's at 375 hp and they were very under stressed. So there is so much potential. Luckily I work for Case IH and we have a TON of cool parts for these engines in our system. My plan is to get it in the truck and then start exploring all the interesting parts I have available. As I said before this is going to be fun!
