Getting to the end of the rust finally. I never thought the day would come where I could start thinking about where I need to go from here...
Dr drip rail needed some attention at the bottom. Not too bad huh? Well be careful of what lurks behinds the bubbles in the paint!
Rust, filler and another old school repair that someone brazed. Wouldn't have been bad if they would have brazed it completely closed. Left it open for moisture to enter through the filler. Not too hard to fix though.
Cut out a 3"x1/2" section and welded in new metal. Still needs a little shaping and a little more grinding to smooth it out.
One of only two small holes I found in the roof. I was glad not to find more considering the history I have had with the little artifacts (rust repairs) I have found in this gem
. This was over the dr door.
This is the only other rust spot in the roof.
