let me see how to explain basicly move the bed forward use the front bolts. Then cut the frame off that hangs out the back. Move the spring hangers n shackles forward.. just a way i seen some one do a truck.
im picking up a free 82 crew cab tommorrow and im going to short bed just for the f**k of it and i think im going to go ur way since u dont really have to do any hard labor..
