Done a few things since last post,
- Replaced the alternator with one that has about twice the output
- Replaced the diff fluid. Found out I have a 4.10 gear ratio.
- Capped off the auxiliary fuel tank.
I went to replace the rubber hoses for the aux tank, only for the protruding metal neck to break off in the old rubber hose. Looking in, the tank was just full of water. I siphoned off as much as I could, then capped the rubber lines underneath, so I didn't accidentally switch from fuel to rusty water. Anyone know if the fuel tank is salvageable? As in, could I take the tank into someone and get it restored? Or is the metal neck breaking make it a deal breaker?
