I like the idea of putting in a schrader valve incase the pump stops working. You could carry one of those small air compressors that plug into the cig lighter and fill it up. You would be good to go. I also like the air hose fitting idea too.

I finally have the compressor and air tank permanently mounted and all connections sealed. Next will be the manifold and the "brain". I hoped to have more done today, but I got sidetracked by having to replace a pool pump motor,
. Anyway, here are a few pictures of the tank/compressor. I also threw the roof rack on to verify fitment. I'm going to send the stanchions to get them rechromed. They are really nice for originals, but with the burb aired out, you'll be staring right at them and I want them to look nice.
