I have been working on it slowly. Mostly rust repair to the passenger side. I also found out why the back door didn't fit right. The body bushing just in front of the rear tire was missing, causing the body to sag 3/4". Because of all my rust it really twisted the body.

Here is where I left off.


With the body mount corrected the doors open and close better.



The floor is done behind the B pillar.


I tack welded the front floor patch.



Then I ground down all the welds and painted the bare metal.




I rebuilt the bottom of the B pillar and removed the suburban part of the rocker panel.


Then I grafted it onto the truck rocker panel.


Next I will finish the bottom of the B pillar and be playing with the rocker panels. Also need to make the back door latch.
