Re: 1964 GMC 3/4 ton build :D

Been looking at my fuel tank Idea and going to scrap it just too dammed big lol. &0 gallons for that truck yeah wonderful but the tank is going to interere with my rear view mirror setup. Here is what I am looking at now. Just a tad taller than the bed rails 45 gallon with fuel sender and line openings.

Found a performance shop in north richland hills today texas that is a licensced GM performance parts dealer and factory mechanic gone solo to open his own shop, been open about 10 years, and has a full dyno. Prive for a custom built harness installed is 700$ for the l92 engine and 6l80e trans he said he can do the rocker switch for the manual mode and a tow haul button button as well to match up to my lokar shifter. Gonna be modifying the lokar shifter rod to work with the 6l80e since it has the same shift number as a 700r4 ie 5 position. the guy at the shop has computers in hand the E38 series and all the other goddies to make this engine run. He has a some bracket setups specifically for the 67 up trucks as well that are package deals.

here is the link to his site. He doesn't list the custom harness setups on there he told me about them on the phone today:
